Discover the art of perfumery at our workshop and learn the science behind fragrance creation from local fragrance expert, Justin Williams, who is on a mission to democratize the craft and make it approachable and accessible to all. His offering surpasses anything seen before in South Africa – you will learn the fundamentals of how the best fragrances are made while enjoying a session full of discovering scents, snacking on canapés and sipping on mimosas.

From the Jean Carles method of building accords and understanding volatile top notes like aldehydes and citrus chemicals, to perfecting the balance of base note materials and evaporation curves, the workshop blends a masterful introduction to perfumery with chemistry, where you will have access to Justin’s curated “perfumer’s organ” that consists of dozens of molecules, oils and other materials needed to create the perfect, unique scent.  You’ll walk away with 30ml of your personalized eau de toilette perfume and a solid education in perfume making.
