Elderflower was started by brother-and-sister duo Dewet and Eleanor Bezuidenhout out of a shared love for plants, creativity, and bringing people together.

For Dewet, plants have always been more than just a business. After spending over 20 years working across the green industry — from landscaping and horticulture to eventually opening his own nursery — the dream was always to create something a little different: a space where people could slow down, reconnect with nature, and create something with their own hands.

Eleanor brings her own creative energy and love for beautiful experiences. What started as a small boutique nursery has since grown into a creative botanical studio offering hands-on workshops, unique kits and gifts, and experiences hosted across South Africa.

At the heart of it all is still the same simple idea — helping people connect through plants, creativity, and meaningful experiences.
