Learn the art of silver jewellery crafting in this hands-on workshop. Under expert guidance, you'll master essential techniques to design and create your own sterling silver ring, taking home 3x finished pieces you've crafted yourself. Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this intimate session combines creative expression with practical metalworking skills in a welcoming studio environment.

What's included?

• Halfday workshop guided by a professional jeweler. 
• Canapes and hot/cold beverages. 
• All materials and metals
• Use of tools, blowtorches, saws, cleaning equipment etc.
• Outcome: x3 ring stack
  • Silver Round wire Ring to fit.
  • Silver Round wire twist Ring to fit.
  • Silver Square wire twist ring to fit.

Techniques Covered:

• Hammer textures
• Basic piercing with saw
• Measuring / sizing and forming
• Filing and sanding
• Soldering of x3 rings Finishing techniques
• Basic machine polishing

About the facilitator:.

Jan the jeweler has has 23 years experience as a jeweler and trained in the UK at the Glasgow School of Jewelery and has done everything from wedding and engagement bands, to custom made masterpieces for art exibitions
